Pamela J. Corbett, 55, of Broadalbin, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 25, at home with her loving family at her side.
She was born July 13, 1957, in Burlington, Vt., the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Betsy (Gillette) Pecor.
Pamela was employed by Mount Loretto Nursing Home where she worked as an LPN for over twenty five years.
On August 14, 2004, she married the love her life, William "Vance" Corbett, who survives. They shared a life filled with love, laughter and family.
She loved antiques and going to yard sales. Pamela also enjoyed gardening and dancing. She loved the country life and hoped one day to have a farm. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Vermont and to Maine. Pam loved just sitting on the beach with Vance watching the tide roll in. A very caring and sociable person, she always put others needs ahead of her own, even during her illness. Most of all, Pam loved being with her children and grandchildren. Family was always first for her and she will be sadly missed.
In addition to her beloved husband, Vance Corbett of Broadalbin, she is survived by a son, Heath Jock (Matthew Lyman) of Rotterdam; two daughters, Angela Jock (Brad Scott) of Amsterdam and Aimee Jock (Kevin Johnson Sr.) of Schenectady; extended family including: David Rider, Jamie Corbett and Michael Pasquariello; five grandchildren, Abigail Jock, Alyza Scott, Kevin Johnson and Kaelynn and Kevin Provost; one brother, James Pecor, and one sister, Patsy Clark, both of Salisbury, Vt.; nieces, nephews cousins; and her precious dog, Billy Boy.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was predeceased by a brother, Perry Pecor; and her dog, Bella.
Family and friends are invited and may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 28, at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 West Main Street, Broadalbin, NY 12025. A funeral service will be held at noon, with the Reverend Dr. R. W. Williams presiding. Additional calling hours and service will take place at Giffords Funeral Home, 22 Depot Street, Richmond, VT 05477, Sunday, July 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., with Reverend James Gorman presiding.
