It's incumbent on any person that replies to Bru Bergman's letter to the editor ask:
1. What forest is being "destroyed?"
2. Do you now or ever have lived here and seen the site? Maybe you have, but the Clearwater address suggests not currently.
3. Without one and two, "the forest is cool, provides habitat to many and removes air pollutants" becomes irrelevant as a matter of fact, based on where the project is being constructed?
It's not much more than worthless swamp ... my take of the area, by no means the official designation of the building site.
I'm 50. I haven't seen "forest" there, ever.
It needs to be asked, does the writer Bergman have a clue where the store is being built?
I'm not endorsing or condemning the Walmart project. It has no effect on me as a Fonda and Northville resident, except for traffic. I'm used to the delays from both ends of Route 30A.
The letter Bergman writes demands the question: What forest is being "destroyed" and where does the writer get his/her info?
