AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam Girls Softball Association is forming Travel teams for our Fall 2012 and Summer 2013 seasons.
Summer teams may be both travel and tournament teams, depending upon participation. Tryouts may be held. The registration fee will be $100 with preference given to those signing up for both sessions.
Fall recreational games are also being scheduled.
With enough participation, the association will have teams at all levels for two weeknight recreational teams along with Sunday travel teams.
Cost will be $5 per game. Girls from all communities, who are at least 6 years old or do not turn 19 before January 1, 2013, are eligible. To sign up e-mail the league at agsa12010@aol.com or visit the Shuttleworth Park Softball Field concession stand from 6 to 8 p.m. today through Thursday.
