FONDA - An Amsterdam man was sentenced to prison time in Montgomery County Court on Monday.
Luis Segarra, 31, of 296 E. Main St., Amsterdam, was sentenced to three years in state prison, one year of post release supervision and $200 in restitution with a $325 surcharge. Segarra pleaded guilty May 15 to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arrested Sept. 20, 2011, in Amsterdam for selling heroin.
