John N. Liggero "Junior" of West State Street, Gloversville, passed away July 11, 2012.
Born in Amsterdam, August 20, 1935, he was the son of John and Mary Martuscello Liggero. John served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Geraldine Landrio Liggero; daughters, Holly (David) Walrath of Johnstown and Shelly (Damon) Curley of Mayfield; one sister, Mary Grace (Arthur) Cotugno of Amsterdam; grandchildren, Season (Gustaf) Gillberg, Christian Walrath, Abaigeal and Ian Curley; great-grandchildren, Mia and Noah Gillberg; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Gloversville, with burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Amsterdam.
