Kristy Ford, the daughter of Joseph and Karen Ford of Fonda, was united in marriage to Steven Subik Jr., the son of Deborah and Steve Subik Sr. of Johnstown, at 6 p.m. June 9.

The ceremony took place at The Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Kelly Ford-Wilder of Fonda. The bridal attendants were Rachel Ricci-Hicks and Melissa Subik-Potter, both of Fonda, Heather Rathburn-Virga of Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, Theresa Ronquillo-Brownell of Tribes Hill, Teresa Sasso-Santos of Amsterdam, Amanda Oare-Herlan of Northville, Jamie Pollack-McRedmond and Kristin Subik, both of Johnstown, Kathleen Keech-Dumar of North Carolina, and Julie Subik-Oare of St. Johnsville.

The best man was Tito Marrero of New Jersey. The ushers were Jeremy Hecker of Rochester, Monroe County, Chris Caputo and Jim Manzer, both of Gloversville, Owen Potter and Jim Wilder, both of Fonda, Chris Oare of St. Johnsville, John Dumar of North Carolina, and Chad Dumar of Albany.

The reception was at the The Glen Sanders Mansion.

A wedding trip to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, is planned. The couple resides in Fultonville.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School and is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose. She is a fifth-grade teacher at St. Pius X School, Loundonville, Albany County.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Johnstown High School and attended the State University of New York College at Cobleskill, Schoharie County. He is a technician at Culligan, Fultonville.
