On June 29, I retired from Nathan Littauer Hospital.
I worked there for 39 years in the cafeteria with my best friend, Shirley Cook.
I got to know a lot of people, people who I didn't realize were becoming quite fond of me.
Well, they all showed it June 29.
My boss, Tim and his staff surprised me with a party and everyone came to wish me well and a happy retirement.
I never had so many hugs from people. You all made me feel so good, and that my 39 years were years well spent.
Thank you all so much and may God bless you.
P.S. I didn't forget my friends on the third floor (thank you for thinking of me).
