Charles E. St. Louis, 77, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side Thursday, July 12, 2012.
He was born February 21, 1935, in Prue, N.Y., the son of the late Eleazer and Helen (Begor) St. Louis.
On August 14, 1957, he married his sweetheart, Betty McGuire, who survives. They shared over fifty four years together.
Charles was employed at William Dorn and Son where he worked as a carpenter until his retirement in 1998.
Mr. St. Louis was very handy and liked to build things. He was extremely creative and no job was too difficult. A man of integrity, he would work all night on a project to ensure it was done right. Charles always put others first and would do anything for anybody. He will be very sadly missed by many.
