GLOVERSVILLE- The city Water Department mailed water and sewer bills to District 1 residents on June 29, and payments are due Aug. 3, according to a news release. The district is the area north of West Fulton Street and west of North Main Street.
Payments may be made in person or mailed to the Water Department at P.O. Box 1100, Gloversville, NY 12078.
If customers have a major piping failure and would like to be considered for a bill adjustment, they must submit an application to the Water Department within 30 days of their billing date.
All applications for relief are subject to approval based on criteria set forth by the Board of Water Commissioners and the wastewater treatment facility.
