FONDA - The Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., is presenting the artwork of Linda Hinkle of Johnstown this month.

Hinkle received bachelor's degree in fine arts at the University of Michigan with a concentration in two- and three-dimensional design, photography, and interior architecture.

For almost 40 years, she has worked in Fulton County as a freelance designer, developing materials for print, products for manufacture and sites for the Internet.

Hinkle has taken part in the Arkell Juried Art Show since 2009, and won first prize in mixed media at the Hagaman's 19th annual art show in October 2010. She also is involved with the Micropolis Cooperative Gallery in Gloversville, in which she was one of the founding members.
