We also want to thank all the volunteers who placed more than 3,000 flags at veterans graves.
We also thank all the individuals, organizations, city and county departments, our local media, The Leader-Herald, stations WFNY and WENT for their coverage and support.
The celebration of this holiday has never lost its real meaning. People from all over our county come here each year to take part in this important holiday event.
We also thank all the individual clubs, organizations, trusts, etc., who made financial contributions for our annual Memorial Day and Veterans Day parades and services. Without this financial help, we would not be able to do the above.
Anyone or groups wishing to help us financially can make checks payable to the Gloversville Parade Committee and send to Linda Bullock, 28 Fifth Ave. or Robert Perrella, 23 Fay St., both in Gloversville.
