Area junior golfers compete in tourney

SCHENECTADY - Several area golfers took part in the Northeastern New York PGA junior golf tour tournament Friday at Mohawk Golf Club.

In the 12-and-younger division, Broadalbin's Noah Scott won with a nine-hole score of 42. Amsterdam's James Phelps Jr. was second with a 43.

In the girls 16- to 18-year-old division, Amsterdam's Sarah Adamowski won with an 18-hole score of 79.

In the boys 16- to 18-year-old division, Broadalbin's Cody Husek was 11th with an 18-hole score of 81. Gloversville's Kevin Johnston was 19th with an 86 and James Snyder was 31st with a 97.

In the boys 13- to 15-year-old division, Broadalbin's Alex Bond was 22nd with an 89. Devin Singh was 44th with a 110 and Michael Schebel was 45th.
