ELMIRA - The Amsterdam Mohawks improved to 22-5 overall with a 7-2 win over Elmira in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game Saturday at Dunn Field.
The Mohawks scored four times in the first inning on their way to the win.
Josh Nethaway was 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Brian Ruby had a single and two RBIs.
Demarcus Henderson added a single and a double for Amsterdam.
Mark Leiter Jr. earned the win on the mound for Amsterdam, allowing four hits, striking out 10 and walking none in six innings of work.
Steven Patterson had two hits for Elmira (10-16 overall), while Tyler McIntyre had a double and two RBIs.
