JOHNSTOWN - The Fulton County YMCA recently announced the Backyard Pool Program is available.
The water safety and instructional swim program brings a swim instructor to a pool to deliver a swim program for children ages 3 to 14. Adult and special-needs lessons also are available.
The program runs from Monday through Aug. 24 and includes four lessons of either 30 or 45 minutes at a person's pool from Monday through Thursday.
Lessons can be rescheduled if there is inclement weather, an improperly maintained pool or in case of instructor illness. Make-up classes will be offered on Fridays.
There must be a minimum of four and a maximum of six children registered at no more than two different swim levels for each lesson. The cost will be $20 for members and $35 for the public.
