PERTH -A teenage motorist was charged by Fulton County sheriff's deputies Sunday with five counts, including three related to drugs, as the result of a vehicle stop.
Deputies said Ryan J. Tambasco, 17, of 1633 County Highway 107, Amsterdam, was charged at 1:30 a.m. on Route 30 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance outside an original container, having an inadequate exhaust and operating out of class.
Deputies said Tambasco was southbound at a high rate of speed with inadequate exhaust. After a vehicle stop, deputies said, they found he was operating on a junior license. Authorities said they found a small amount of marijuana in a pocket. A search of the vehicle uncovered four Hydrocodone pills inside a cigarette pack, deputies said.
Tambasco will appear later in Town Court.
