JOHNSTOWN - The Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry is planning a business expo in the fall after the chamber merges with the Montgomery County chamber.
Interim President Mark Kilmer told the Board of Supervisors' Economic Development and Environment Committee about the expo Tuesday.
Members of both counties' chambers voted April 26 to merge into one organization and be known as the Fulton-Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Kilmer estimated the merger may be final by September.
He said a large site will be needed for the expo.
He also told the committee he attended a ceremony recently with Gov. Andrew Cuomo in Albany in which the New New York promotional business advertisements were unveiled. One of the 30-second TV commercials features the Fage USA yogurt plant at the Johnstown Industrial Park.
"It gives you pride in New York when you see it," Kilmer said. "It's quite a nicely laid-out advertisement."
Chamber Tourism Director Gina DaBiere-Gibbs said 84 people are registered so far for the Third Annual Peck's Lake Sprint Triathlon planned for Aug. 4. She said the chamber placed ads for the event in June and July editions of Adirondack Sports & Fitness magazine.
DaBiere-Gibbs said tickets are on sale for the 18th Annual $10,000 Bet on Fulton County raffle set for Aug. 3 at the Holiday Inn. She said $100 tickets can be purchased at the hotel, chamber office and Partner's Pub. The drawing will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
