COBLESKILL Ashley Kazala tripled and singled, leading Gloversville to a 12-3 Adirondack Girls Softball League win over Cobleskill on Thursday.
Shawna Funk, Emily Washburn, Krista Lee, Natalie Ozea and Sam Stewart each had two hits for the G-Unit (2-0). Jesse Devoe and Ashley Funk also had hits. Stewart went the distance, striking out four. Katlyn Pierce picked off the runner at third base with the bases loaded to end a two-out rally.
Cori Manson doubled and singled for Cobleskill, and Deryn DiMarco homered.
