Mark Sheldon Hojohn, age 56, of Johnstown passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012, in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Hojohn was born October 17, 1955, in Amsterdam, and is survived by his father, Robert, and stepmother Barbara Hojohn of Johnstown, his sons Todd Hojohn of Indiana and Scott Hojohn of Johnstown, and daughter Amanda Ellis of Florida, and predeceased by the late Jean Hojohn of Amsterdam.
Mr. Hojohn also is survived by his sister Susan Shaver, two brothers Mike and Rodney Hojohn, and stepbrother and stepsister Robert and Rebecca, in addition to several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was self-employed for many years as a general contractor and salesman. Mark loved taking rides on his motorcycle, being a sponsor to many substance abuse addicts, and spending time with his children and 8 grandchildren: Josiah, Nolan, Jeremiah, Hannah, Seth, Elisabeth, Landen and Abigail.
Friends and family may call on Monday, July 2nd. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. and a service to follow at 6 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
