CANAJOHARIE - A patriotic organ recital will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the former Saints Peter and Paul Church, at the corner of Cliff and Walnut streets, to celebrate Independence Day. The doors will open for the event at 6 p.m.
The works for organ will feature: A salute to the Armed Forces, variations on both, "The Navy Hymn" and "America," patriotic hymns and a sing along. Eric M. Stroud will play the organ. There also will be light refreshments served.
All free-will offerings to support the Canajoharie arts will be accepted.
