Gloversville tops Florida in 10 innings

FLORIDA - Gloversville scored seven runs in the top of the 10th inning to post a 17-10 win over Town of Florida in an Adirondack Girls Softball League 18-and-younger contest Tuesday.

Katlyn Pierce homered for Gloversville in the top of the seventh to tie the game at 9-9. Pierce also added two singles for Gloversville.

Emily Washburn had three singles for Gloversville, while Ashley KAzala and Krista Lee each had two singles.

Sam Stewart earned the win in the circle for Gloversville.

Gloversville (1-0 overall) will travel to Johnstown today for an 8 p.m. game, while Florida will host Amsterdam today.
