Women charged with trespassing

GLOVERSVILLE - Two city women were charged with second-degree criminal trespass after entering a vacant residence, police said.

Police said officers attempted to execute two arrest warrants - for second- and third-degree burglary - for Taylor Wright, 21, of 39 West St., on Friday.

However, as officers entered her residence, Wright climbed out a bedroom window with Amy Johnson, 22, of the same address.

Police said Johnson was out on bail on charges related to the same burglaries.

Officer found both women hiding inside a vacant residence at 41 West. St. Wright was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and the burglaries realted to the arrest warrants, police said. She was arraigned in City Court and sent to Fulton County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Johnson injured herself while climbing out of the window, police said, and was released to the Ambulance Service of Fulton County. She was charged with second-degree criminal trespass today, arraigned in City Court and sent to Fulton County Jail on $1,500 bail or $3,000 bond.
