CANAJOHARIE - The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will vote today on whether to turn over the deed for the former West Hill Elementary School to the village.

The school, which is in disrepair, has sat unused since 2002. If the village takes ownership of the property, it will decide after a public meeting July 26 what to do with the building, said Canajoharie Mayor Francis Avery.
