Chris and Leslie Foss of Johnstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Foss, to Jeff Deery, the son of Eugene and Jeanne Deery of Elmira, Chemung County.
Foss is a 2003 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 2008 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, Monroe County, with a bachelor's degree in industrial design. She is employed as a display artist at Urban Outfitter, Boston, Mass.
Deery is a 1997 graduate of Southside High School, Elmira, and a 2004 graduate of Cazenovia, Madison County, with a bachelor's degreee in graphic design. He is employed as a global account specialist by Avery Dennison, Boston.
