Arthur J. Soules Jr., age 75, of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, after a brief illness.
Born on September 22, 1936, in Gloversville, he was the son of the late Arthur J. Soules Sr. and Anna Christiano Soules.
He was a graduate of Gloversville High School and attended college in Alabama. Mr. Soules also served in the National Guard.

He was a member of the Gloversville Moose.
Art was employed for forty years as a foreman with the Milligan & Higgins Co. until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Soules; stepson, Donny Stewart; stepdaughter, Kim Williams; his sister, Beverly Ashby; grandchildren, Zachary Jones, Christopher DeSouter and Christina Christman; his dog Buddy; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Friends and family may call on today, June 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation will be at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
