Rose M. Langwig, age 81, of Johnstown, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Nathan Littauer Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born on November 11, 1930, in Gloversville, a daughter of the late Lester and Bessie Valleau Buyce.
Rose was a class of 1948 graduate of Broadalbin High School and successfully completed her education at Nathan Littauer Nursing School. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania until her retirement.

Survivors include her son, Robert Langwig and his wife, Lois of Middletown, Delaware; two daughters, Judi Jaus of Milroy, Pennsylvania and Joan Popolo of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; one sister, Louise Smith; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Kenneth Buyce, Delbert Buyce, Lester Buyce Jr. and Edward Buyce.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 22, at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 12 James Street, Gloversville. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
