Arthur J. Soules Jr., age 75, of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, after a brief illness.
Born on September 22, 1936, in Gloversville, he was the son of the late Arthur J. Soules Sr. and Anna Christiano Soules.
He was a graduate of Gloversville High School and attended college in Alabama. Mr. Soules also served in the National Guard.

He was a member of the Gloversville Moose.
Art was employed for forty years as a foreman with the Milligan & Higgins Co. until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Soules; stepson, Donny Stewart; stepdaughter, Kim Williams; his sister, Beverly Ashby; grandchildren, Zachary Jones, Christopher DeSouter and Christina Christman; his dog, Buddy; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 23, at a time to be announced at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Friends and family may call on Friday, June 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation will be at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
