BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Albany Legends finished their 2012 Independent Basketball Association regular season schedule on a high note defeating the Battle Creek Knights, 150-99, on Wednesday at the Kellogg Arena.
Gloversville graduate E.J. Gallup scored 44 points and connected on 12 3-pointers for the Legends.
Lloyd Johnson led Albany with 45 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his third triple-double of the season.
Courtney Blackmore led Battle Creek with 29 points and eight rebounds.
Albany (10-5 overall) will compete in the IBA playoffs beginning Friday in Gary, Ind.
The Legends have earned the third seed in the eight-team bracket. Albany's first round opponent is the Lansing Capitals who are the sixth seeded team in the tournament with an 8-7 record on the season.
Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Genesis Convention Center.
