AMSTERDAM - City police said a three-month investigation into drug sales led officers to arrest four city residents Friday.

Christopher Brown, 49, of 11 Eagles St., first floor; Luis Rosa, 37, of 350 E. Main St., room four; Timothy Shea, 61, of 2 Lodge St., second floor; and Elizabeth Santiago, 44, of 296 E. Main St., second floor, were all charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Brown and Rosa also were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Shea was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said officers discovered Brown had a 1998 Mercedes-Benz Roadster, a shotgun in a piano, a ballistic vest and cash while serving the search warrant.

Police said Rosa had crack cocaine and Shea had heroin that was seized during the arrest.
