AMSTERDAM - City police said a three-month investigation into drug sales led officers to arrest four city residents Friday.
Christopher Brown, 49, of 11 Eagles St., first floor; Luis Rosa, 37, of 350 E. Main St., room four; Timothy Shea, 61, of 2 Lodge St., second floor; and Elizabeth Santiago, 44, of 296 E. Main St., second floor, were all charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Brown and Rosa also were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Shea was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police said officers discovered Brown had a 1998 Mercedes-Benz Roadster, a shotgun in a piano, a ballistic vest and cash while serving the search warrant.
Brown is on federal probation, police said.
Police said Rosa had crack cocaine and Shea had heroin that was seized during the arrest.
Rosa is on state parole for prior drug sales, police said. Police also said this is Santiago's second arrest in the past two months for drug sales.
All four were arraigned in City Court and sent to the Montgomery County Jail.
