Jeers to The Leader-Herald, which found it necessary to humiliate an unfortunate individual on the front page of the paper.
The story was not newsworthy, not human interest; it was just poor taste. It is the fire department and ambulance services' job to assist in many difficult and sensitive calls. As a wife of a retired fireman, I know it is a fact that they keep situations private and confidential, respecting the individual and their family.
I feel The Leader-Herald should apologize for its lack of professionalism and in the future think before it publishes.
