JOHNSTOWN - The Fulton County Republican Committee met recently and unanimously endorsed Hugh T. Farley, R., Niskayuna, for the 49th State Senate District. As a result of the recently adopted redistricting by the state Legislature, the new Senate District seat will include all of Fulton and Hamilton Counties, as well as parts of Herkimer, Schenectady and Saratoga Counties.
The committee also endorsed Assemblyman Marc W. Butler, R. Newport, for the 118th State Assembly District. This newly created Assembly District includes all of Fulton and Hamilton Counties, as well as parts of Herkimer, Oneida and St. Lawrence Counties.
The general election is scheduled for Nov. 6.
