GLOVERSVILLE - Gloversville senior Nate Ligon recently was named a Foothills Council boys tennis all-star.
Also named all-stars were Rob Schmitz (Scotia-Glenville), Josh Motta (Scotia-Glenville), Alex Castonguay (Queensbury), Mitch Burhoe (Glens Falls) and Marc Rich (Hudson Falls).
Scotia-Glenville won the league title with a 10-0 record, while Gloversville finished second in the standings with a 7-3 league mark. The Huskies finished the season 8-4 overall.
