Aid provided to seven residents

GLOVERSVILLE - The American Red Cross provided temporary emergency aid to seven residents of 423 S. Main St. Tuesday night after National Grid was called in response to an arcing wire.

The New York Chapter of the Disaster Action Team provided four adults and three children with financial assistance, clothing, temporary lodging and cleanup kits.
