JOHNSTOWN - Lexington Center recently announced the start of the community portion of its 2012 membership drive, "Every Member Makes a Difference."
Membership in Lexington for community members is $15 for the first member in a household, and $7 each for additional household members who are at least age 18. There are other membership levels available. Membership also can be given in memory of, or in honor of, an individual or individuals.
Lexington provides clinical, medical, residential, day habilitation, recreational, vocational, job placement and other services to children and adults with disabilities.
Membership in Lexington helps the agency maintain its programs and services, educate the community about its mission and programs, and advocate for the resources and legislation required to maintain its support of people with disabilities and their families.
