Man charged after stop on Thruway

CANAJOHARIE - State police said a man stopped on the Thruway on Friday possessed crack cocaine.

Jeremy W. Hill, 35, was charged with fourth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police said a trooper stopped Hill's vehicle while it was on the Thruway in the town.

Police said Hill had 5.9 grams of crack cocaine, hyrdocodone pills and a small quantity of marijuana.

Hill was arraigned in?Town?Court and sent to Montgomery?County?Correctional Facility on no bail pending further court action.
