Amy Martin, the daughter of Michael and Cathy Martin of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Patrick Wilson, the son of Jack and Janice Wilson of Gloversville, on Nov. 5, 2011.

The ceremony took place at the Foothills United Methodist Church. The Rev. Cynthia VanAllen officiated the ceremony.

The bride was escorted by her father and mother.

The maid of honor was Ali Martin of Gloversville, sister of bride. The matron of honor was Jaime Luciano of Gloversville. The bridal attendants were Michelle Ivery of Gloversville, sister of the bride; Alissa Christie of Newburyport, Mass. and Deanna Shelley of Charlestown, Mass., cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Katelynn Wilson, daughter of the bridegroom. The miniature bride was Addison Ivery. niece of the bride.

The best men were Michael Martin, brother of the bride and Sean Wilson, brother of the bridegroom, both of Gloversville. The ushers were Dave Ivery of Gloversville and Dylon Wilson of Greenfield Center, Saratoga County, son of the bridegroom. The ringbearer was Dante Ivery, nephew of the bride.

The readings were done by Carol Ryder, aunt of the bride; Kelli Wallace, cousin of the bride; and Robin Wilson. Edward Goodemote and William Walker sang for the ceremony.

A reception for 125 guests took place at the Concordia Club. The bride and bridegroom shared their first dance with cousin of the bride, Karissa Stokdal of Kingston performing on the guitar and singing.

A wedding trip took place in Edisto Island, S.C. The couple resides in Mayfield.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Gloversville High School, 2001 graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, Clinton County, and a 2004 graduate of the University of Phoenix. She is a Medicaid service coordinator for Lexington Center and is a volunteer firefighter for the Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department.

The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Mayfield High School and attended New England Culinary Institute of Vermont. He is employed by Lexington Center as a job trainer specialist with the band, Flame and is a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician for the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department.
