GLOVERSVILLE - The Ida L. McGinnis Club met Tuesday with 35 people in attendance. Betty Gugenberger, chaplain, led in devotions and in "The Lord's Prayer."
Arla Fonda, president, opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and sang "America."
"Hi to your neighbors" was expressed, a news release said.
Shirley Frederick gave the secretary's report and Linda Zilka gave the treasurer's reports, both of which were accepted as read.
The Turning Stone Casino trip June 19 is full, but there is a waiting list. If interested, call Jeannie McDuffie at 725-8396.
Jeanette Fonda, sunshine chairwoman, sent cards to the shut-ins.
It was agreed to revise the bylaws in September; a committee will be chosen. Donations were made to the Fulton?County Office for Aging and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
On Aug. 7, a trip to The Beeches, Rome, Oneida County, is planned.
The next business meeting will be June 26. The May and June birthdays will be celebrated. There will be no meetings during July and August.
Audie Garguilo, Edna Longo and Annie Olson were the 50-50 winners.
The meeting adjourned. Refreshments were served and bingo was played.
