I'd like to remind the people in the tri-county area to check out the humane society on Nine Mile Tree Road to adopt a pet. Those are the ones who were left behind, thrown out and even lost, and they long for a new mommy and daddy.
There are kittens, older kittens, cats and puppies and dogs, and they don't understand why they're now in cages. If you're looking for a forever pet, please check the shelter. They know when they've been rescued and they'll love you forever. There is a fee, but that covers spay and neuter and shots, which amounts to way less than the vet.
