In response to the letter with the headline, "Parade noise unhealthy," do you have nothing better to worry about? If you are that worried about animals and plants, why would you write a letter to a newspaper? The letters are printed on paper; paper comes from trees.
I'm sure most people like myself didn't feel like the "war" was coming to the USA or Kingsboro Avenue. The noise was for celebration, for remembrance of our veterans and the military men and women we have lost - the same people who have given you the freedom that allows you to complain about the noise and who made the world what it is today.
If it weren't for our veterans, I am sure we would all have a lot more things to worry about than noise and what affects it.
