Mark A. Hoag, 59, a native of Gloversville and longtime resident of Pompano Beach, Fla., passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, May 31, from a cardiac illness.
Mark was born on Nov. 10, 1952, a son of Everett H. and Nancy Hemstreet Hoag. He grew up in Gloversville, where he received his education. In 1969, he moved to Florida where he had since been self-employed as a commercial fisherman. During the 1970s Mark was united in marriage with Donna Blowers in Gloversville.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by one daughter, Christina, and her fiance, Bill of Pompano Beach; his mother, Nancy Hoag of Boonville; one brother, William E. (Carol Lynn) Hoag of Pompano Beach; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Everett H., in 1983.
