GLOVERSVILLE - A dispute between neighbors ended in an arrest Thursday after a victim was reportedly hit in the head with a baseball bat.

Kristofer D. Hunter, 19, of 30 Alexander St., was arrested by city police at midnight Thursday and charged with second-degree assault, a felony.

Police said Hunter on Sunday was arguing with a neighbor, and when the dispute escalated, he allegedly hit the neighbor on the head with a bat.

Police said the unnamed victim reported the alleged assault and required medical attention for a nasal fracture.

Hunter was held pending arraignment.
