GLOVERSVILLE - A city man faces six charges after police said he was driving while intoxicated as he tried to flee police.
State police arrested Frank L. Middlebrook, 44, around 11:15 p.m. May 11 on East State Street after an alleged pursuit that began in the town of Mayfield.
Middlebrook was charged with two misdemeanors - fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle and DWI - as well as failure to obey a police officer, unsafe turning, imprudent speed and speeding. He was released on an appearance ticket.
