GLOVERSVILLE - The final plans are under way for the annual Gloversville Memorial Day parade and services May 28.
The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. followed by services at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
The placement of flags on veterans graves is complete at the following cemeteries: Kingsboro, the new and old Prospect Hill, Knesseth Israel, and Ferndale except the veterans plot.
Any group that wants to participate in the parade, and has not been contacted by the committee, can call any of the following people: Ambrose Anderson, Linda Bullock, Karen Dwyer-Smith, Deb Finkle, Linda Fisher, Harold Gordon, Brian Perrella, Todd Mercer, Kenneth Rockwell, Michael Perrella, Joni Wilson, Steve West, James Schraeder or Robert Perrella.
