Barbara J. Darling, age 61, of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2012, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.
She was born on April 5, 1951, in Gloversville, attended Gloversville schools and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Darling, whom she married on March 22, 1981, mother Dolores Erb of Gloversville, one son Fred (Laura) Rulison, Jr. of Pennsylvania, one daughter Jessica (Ronald) Forjone of Caroga Lake; two brothers Raymond (Sherrie) Sartin, Jr. of Gloversville and Richard (Lisa) Sartin of Pennsylvania; three sisters Claudette (Thomas) Crocetta of Gloversville, Nancy (James) Canary of Ephratah and Theresa (Andrew) Tedesco of Gloversville; four grandchildren, Brock Forjone, Haylea Rulison, Katelynn Plummer and Tori Rulison; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Dallas and Collin and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, Raymond Sartin, Sr., she was predeceased by one daughter, Loretta Lynn Rulison, one brother, John Sartin, and one sister, Shirley Kilcullen.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 21, at 1 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. Family and friends may call prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
