GLOVERSVILLE - A city man is facing four felony charges after being charged with driving while intoxicated for the second time in 10 years.
John Lavada, 22, was arrested on West Fulton Street around 5 a.m. Thursday, state police said. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08 percent, aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated.
The DWI charge is a felony because troopers say he has a previous conviction.
He also was charged with driving a vehicle without an interlock device, a misdemeanor, and an equipment violation after failing to dim his lights, troopers said. He was released.
