Joshua J. Galante, age 20, of Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 13, 2012, in Gloversville.
He was born on February 14, 1992, the son of Gerianne Galante.
Joshua was adventurous in nature. He enjoyed snowboarding, swimming, jetskiing and water skiing. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Layla Rose Randall; his mother, Gerianne Galante; a brother, Jacob Beddow; a sister, Jordan Beddow; his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Galante; two aunts, Sonia Soto, Evelyn Whitehead; four uncles, Louis Soto (Carol), Michael Aponte (Maryann), Edwin Aponte (Sandy) and Nicholas Galante (Trisha). Additional survivors include John Beddow as well as several cousins.
Family and friends are invited and may call from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012, at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the funeral home, with Pastor George Hopper officiating. Interment will follow at Ferndale Cemetery in Johnstown.
