H.S. Softball Roundup: Mayfield gets past Sharon Springs

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Emily Chrisman had two singles and two RBIs to lead St. Johnsville to a 10-3 Western Athletic Conference win over Galway on Monday.

Sarah Sammons was 1-for-1 with two walks, a single and two RBIs for the Lady Saints (10-7 overall, 7-5 WAC), while Sam Cleveland added a single.

Hannah Smith had two hits for Galway (7-11 overall, 6-6 WAC), while Jesse Uline added a double.

Catholic Central 15, Amsterdam 2

TROY - Anna Cochis struck out 10 batters to lead Catholic Central to a win over Amsterdam.

Cochis also had a triple, single and four RBIs at the plate for the Crusaders (12-4 overall, 9-0 Big 10). Hannah Kutny added four singles and four RBIs for Catholic Central.

Ashley Przbylowicz hit her third home run in as many games for Amsterdam (6-10 overall, 3-7 Big 10).

Amanda Mullarkey, Bayley Archinal, Jordann Bernardo, Courtney Rosser and Victoria Vogel all had singles for the Lady Rams.

Lizzie Speece had a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored for Wells (1-8 overall), while Brittany Woodward had three singles.

Bobbi-Jo Page had a single, two runs scored and three stolen bases for the Lady Indians, while Shelby Hoffman had a single and two RBIs. Desi Gallup, Jessica Rhodes and Karlie Tomlinson each had a single for Wells.

DOLGEVILLE - Shania McEvoy went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and home run to lead West Canada Valley to a win over Dolgeville/Oppenheim-Ephratah.

Kalli Warmingham added a double and a triple for the Indians, who scored four times in the top of the seventh to secure the victory.

Kaitlyn Winkler had two singles for Dolgeville/Oppenheim-Ephratah (4-6 overall), while Kristen Lansburg added a triple.
