Dugout Club to host fundraiser Sunday
GLOVERSVILLE?-The Gloversville Dugout Club will hold its second annual Hits 4 Hope Bowling tournament to raise money for the Melody?Center at Albany medical Center.
It will take place Sunday at 1p.m. at Starlite Lanes located on 9 Montgomery St. in Gloversville.
The cost to bowl will be $20 per person.
There also will be a 50/50 raffle with all proceeds going to the Hits 4 Hope program.
Lane sponsorship also is available at a cost of $25 per lane. Last year, this program raised almost $3,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This year's recipient will be the Melody Center, a place for children with cancer and blood disorders.
