Christopher M. Robbins, age 35, of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at home.
He was born in Gloversville, N.Y., on September 3, 1976, the son of Gary L. and Julia A. (Fosmire) Robbins.
Christopher was educated at the Wildwood School in Guilderland and was a member of the Tribes Hill Presbyterian Church. He attended Lexington Center Day Hab. Christopher loved to collect pennies and enjoyed music, animals and anything with wheels.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Gary L. and Julia A. Robbins of Gloversville; a brother, Nicholas J. Robbins (Kimberly) of Gloversville; a sister, Sherry B. Robbins (Eric Hurd) of Gloversville; four nephews, Derek Robbins, Jordan Hurd, Alexander Hurd and Aidan Hurd.
Additional survivors include several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Tribes Hill Presbyterian Church, 116 Elizabeth Street, Tribes Hill, NY 12177, with the Rev. Larry Greenwold officiating. Interment will follow at Broadalbin-Mayfield Rural Cemetery. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Christopher to the Lexington Center, 127 East State Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
