AMSTERDAM - The Walter Elwood Museum has received a $5,000 grant from the Mohawk Carpet Foundation of Mohawk Industries.
Ann Peconie, executive director of the museum, said the grant will help the museum continue to clean and restore collections damaged by flooding last summer at Guy Park Manor, where the museum was located.
Mohawk Carpet Foundation of Dalton, Ga., has been a supporter of the museum for several years, sponsoring summer camp programming for families and youth, according to a news release.
