Arla Fonda, president, opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and singing "America." The reports of the secretary and treasurer were accepted as read.

The final plans were made for the bingo party Tuesday, which will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Third Avenue. The cost will be $3, with refreshments and prizes available.

On May 8, the club's anniversary banquet will be conducted at noon at the Holiday Inn. The club will be honoring the memory of former members Betty Green and Winnie Baker. The Betty Green Chorus will provide the entertainment. Katherine Van Alstine, Carol Lowery and Connie Simonds will be the decorating committee.

Millie Thompson, a former member, was welcomed as a visitor.

The next business meeting is May 1, when the March and April birthdays will be celebrated.

The club had an Easter hat parade contest and the winners were: Ruggeri, first prize; Audrey Frohn, second prize; and Dixie Gifford, third prize.

The 50-50 winners were Dorothy Passero, Frohn and Mary Renda.

The meeting was adjourned and refreshments were served. Dorothy Roy called bingo.
